Anne Celeste Heche is an American actress who is known for her wide variety of roles across film as well as television and the stage. It is possible that an agent turned it down on her behalf without telling the actress. Glen Larson initially selected her to play Battlestar Galactica in 1978. He sent a rough script. She initially rejected the part because she felt that the character wasn't strong enough. Glen created a completely different character to play Sheba, which was much more powerful.
